The cast is small on purpose

WHO FARTED? does not ask you to memorize a forty-character roster. The fantasy is sharper: one secret farter, everyone else trying to find them before they get farted on. In a lobby capped near 10 players, role clarity and social execution matter more than collecting units.

This hub introduces both mindsets and links deeper pages:

  • Farter — stealth, badge, optional GamePass
  • Innocent — deduction, pressure, teamwork

Pair with Find the Farter, Win as Farter, and the strategy tier list.

Role: Farter

Identity. You are the hidden threat named in the pitch. The lobby should doubt everyone—including the loud detective.

Goals. Stay unidentified long enough to secure the round win and, if you care about collectibles, the WIN AS FARTER badge (“dont trust this person. they farted.”).

Tools. Social camouflage, pathing discipline, truthful misdirection. Optional 2x Farter Chance GamePass (599 Robux) increases how often you roll the role; it does not auto-win.

Role: Innocent / Finder / Survivor

Identity. Anyone not selected as farter shares the investigation burden. Exact labels in UI may say innocent, survivor, or simply imply “everyone else”—trust the client text each patch.

Goals. Identify the farter using checkable info before you become the punchline.

Tools. Observation, structured chat, timed votes, soft baits, and the Suspicion Tracker.

What we do not invent

No fabricated sub-roles, alignment charts, or unconfirmed third teams. If Badass Experiences later adds neutrals, jesters, or timed events, we will document them on Updates and expand this hub. Until then, master the 1-vs-all core.

Lobby dynamics by role mix

With one farter and many innocents:

  • Information is asymmetric. The farter knows their identity; town must discover it.
  • False confidence is lethal. A wrong vote wastes the only resource that matters: trust.
  • Silence and noise both hide threats. Read the tier list for which communication styles fit which lobbies.

Friend stacks change the math. Duos can clear each other honestly—or smuggle a farter. Solo players should demand checkable claims, not vibes.

Progression outside roles

Roles reset each round, but account progress includes cosmetics and badges:

  • Claim the free fart skin via Like + Badass Experiences group.
  • Chase WIN AS FARTER through gameplay, not scams.
  • Ignore fake codes until developers post real ones.
  • Skip shady scripts.

Learning both sides

Strong players force themselves to appreciate the enemy toolkit:

  1. Play five intentional innocent rounds using late confirm.
  2. Play every farter roll as a stealth exam.
  3. Spectate one full round without chatting to study pathing.
  4. Return to Getting Started if the loop still feels fuzzy.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many roles are there?

Core loop is one secret farter versus innocents/finders. No extra public roster is documented here.

Can I choose to be the farter?

Selection is random by default. The optional 2x Farter Chance GamePass doubles your odds but does not guarantee the role.
